FIFA has confirmed the match kits for the two semifinals of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026, with Argentina set to wear their navy blue away jersey against England in the second semifinal.

England, meanwhile, will take the field in their traditional white home kit when the two sides meet at Atlanta Stadium on Thursday.

Along with the navy blue shirt, Argentina will wear black shorts and black socks, while England will be dressed in an all-white strip.

Argentina have not worn their away kit in any of their knockout matches at this World Cup. Their only appearance in the navy blue jersey came during the group stage against Jordan.

Historically, Argentina have enjoyed success against England while wearing their away colours. They beat England in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinal and again in the 1998 Round of 16, wearing their away kit on both occasions.

However, Argentina, who also wore their away strip against England in 1962 and wore their home kit in the 1966 and 2002 World Cups, lost those matches.

The Albiceleste returned to their iconic sky blue-and-white home kit for their most recent World Cup meeting with England in 2002 but suffered a 1-0 defeat in the group stage before crashing out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, in the first semifinal, France will wear their traditional blue home kit, while Spain will be dressed in their off-white away strip.

The first semifinal between France and Spain will be played at Dallas Stadium on Wednesday.
