Int'l Mountain Day today

This year the theme of the day is 'Sustainable Management of Mountains'.

To mark the day, Bangla Mountaineering and Tracking Club (BMTC) has taken up elaborate programmes.

These include photography exhibition, slide and video show and discussion on the Chhabir Haat premises of Fine Arts Institute at Dhaka University.

Earlier on December 8, BTMC organised a rally, seminar and photography exhibition in Bandarban where former principal of Cox's Bazar Mahila College Thanjama Lusai was present as chief guest.

Director of Upajatiya Sangskritik Institute Mang Nu Ching was present as special guest at the seminar presided over by President of Bandarban Press Club Badshah Miah Master.
