NFTE demands competent person to run edn sector

Leaders of National Front of Teachers and Employees (NFTE), a platform of 11-teachers and employees' organisations, yesterday called upon the president/chief adviser to hand over the charge of education ministry to a competent person to put an end to the ongoing impasse in the education sector.

NFTE formed a human chain at Muktangan where the leaders also urged the caretaker government to investigate into last five years' corruption, and demanded cancellation of all contractual appointments in the education sector.
