30 FFs to join Victory Day celebrations in Kolkata
A group of 30 freedom fighters will take part in joint celebrations on 'Vijay Diwas' (Victory Day) from December 15 to 17 in Kolkata, says an Indian High Commission press release.
The celebrations are being organised by Eastern Army Command at Fort William, Kolkata.
A group of 60 freedom fighters also visited India last year for the celebrations.

The celebrations of this year will consist of a commemoration ceremony at Vijay Smarak (Victory Memorial), cultural programmes, a social get together and meetings with officers of the Indian Army as well as civilians who were involved in the War of Liberation.
