Prof Amartya to attend launching ceremony of HW report

The ceremony, to be held at the Brac Centre Auditorium at 10:00am, will be chaired by Brac Chairperson Fazle Hasan Abed. Nobel laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus is expected to be present as the guest of honour.

Bangladesh Health Watch is a civil society initiative to monitor the progress in achievement of good health for all citizens of the country.

The Health Watch scheme draws on the ongoing initiatives and experience of the existing network of community-level health watch groups in initiating a process of institutionalising a monitoring system for health in Bangladesh.
