Newborn found dead in city

The body, wrapped in polythene, was found at around 11:30am in a dustbin near Dhoolaipar High School area, sources said.

Seeing the body, locals informed the police who sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police suspect relatives of the baby might have thrown him for being an illegal child. The baby was more than a day old, they alleged.
