Camp on breast cancer begins

With a view to raising awareness among women about breast cancer and hypertension, Bangladesh Mahila Samity is organising a month-long free medical camp that began at Dr Azmal Hospital Limited auditorium in the city yesterday.

Eminent nutritionist Prof Siddika Kabir, Actress Kabari Sarwar, Bangladesh Cancer Society General Secretary Dr Golam Mohiuddin Faruk and Executive Director of Dr Azmal Hospital and President of Mahila Parishad Selina Khalek spoke on the occasion.

The Samity is organising the one-month long camp under its 'Health Service Programme' where experts will conduct free check up from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Dr Azmal Hospital, Mirpur.
