Abbas, Yusufi elected CPC president, secy

The election was held at CPC auditorium where a total of 142, out of 152 voters, cast their votes.

Other office-bearers are Senior Vice President: Abu Jafar Md Haider, Joint Secretary: Md Khorshed Alam, Treasurer: Nowsher Ali Khan, Cultural and Publication Secretary: Manjur Kader Manju, Library Secretary: Didarul Alam and Sports Secretary: Mohammad Faruk.

Members of the executive committee are Faruk Iqbal, Shahid Ul Alam and Md Sekandar Hossain.

Earlier, Asif Siraj and Roksarul Islam were elected vice-president and social welfare secretary unopposed.

Md Yusuf conducted the election as election commissioner while Omar Kaiser and Tamal Chowdhury were the assistant election commissioners.
