186 RU teachers demand foolproof security for Hasina
A group of 186 pro-Awami League (AL) teachers of Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday urged the caretaker government to ensure foolproof security of AL President Sheikh Hasina after returning home.
They also congratulated Hasina on her courageous role and brave decision to return home.
In a statement yesterday, they said, "AL president launched joint movement against corruption, black money, muscle power and crime to ensure holding of fair parliamentary election".

The signatories to the statement included former RU VC Prof Saidur Rahman Khan, Progressive Teachers Society Convener Prof Abdus Sobhan, Prof Mukhlesur Rahman, Prof Anando Kumar Shaha, Prof Muhammad Nurullah, Prof Mizan Uddin, Prof Khairul Alam, Prof Faikuzzman, Prof Moloy Kumar, Prof Shamsuddin Ilyas, Prof Abdul Latif and Prof Sayen Uddin.
