Lorde snubs 'lip-sync' rumblings

Based on a tweet from Lorde, some viewers were apparently so impressed by her vocals in her Saturday Night Live performance with Disclosure that they questioned whether or not she was actually singing live. An amused Lorde, who performed “Magnets” on the November 14 episode, decided to dispel any lip-syncing rumblings.

The day after the show aired, Lorde took to Twitter to post: “wow - the fact that some people thought I was lip syncing on snl is an awesome compliment! Goes without saying I have never/will never haha.”

The pop sensation from New Zealand later tweeted, “We're just a bunch of kids from far away places and we played on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! It's all a bit overwhelming and I'm crazy grateful.”
