15 advices for standardisation of secondary education
Educationists have placed 15 recommendations to improve the quality of secondary education, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said today.
They have proposed to drop several subjects such as physical education and fine arts to reduce students' pressure, the minister said at a press briefing at his ministry office in Dhaka.

The education experts suggested that the public examinations from 2019 should be held on one question paper under all the education boards, Minister Nahid added.
"Reformation is needed in the education system for IX and X classes," he said quoting the educationists.
A 'book reading day' should be observed across the country to raise awareness among the students," the minister advice.
Mentioning several other suggestions before the reporters, he added: "We will take decision on the recommendations later."
