LOAN FOR PUCCA HOUSE IN RURAL AREAS
National housing finance authority has taken an initiative to provide long-term loans for building pucca houses in rural areas. Previously, the organisation used to finance urban housing projects only. This new decision is a reflection of the government's commitment to reduce the existing urban-rural disparity, says a government handout. The interest rate of this new loan scheme will be lower than that for urban houses.
FARM MECHANISATION SCHEME PASSED
