Rab claims arrest of 6 ‘cheaters’

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today claimed arrest of six fraudsters who took money from people and assured them of providing government jobs.

The arrestees were identified as: Mamun Akanda, 23, Abul Kashem, 52, Abdur Razzak, 57, Tarek Hasan, 53, Nasir Uddin, 46, and Rashedul Majid, 32, - held from different areas in Dhaka.

They were allegedly cheating jobseekers by taking Tk 4 lakh to Tk 5 lakh each in the name of giving them jobs in lower-level government service, said a press release.
