Live update: UP Polls

The first phase of the Union Parishad (UP) elections began this morning, marking the start of the country's maiden UP-level polls on partisan lines. So far seven people were injured in Satkhira, Noakhali and Patuakhali and voting remained suspended in 13 polling centres in Satkhira, Barisal and Patuakhali.
