PM shocked at deaths in Manchester attack

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed her strong condemnation to the militant attack in Manchester that left at least 22 people dead and dozens injured.

“It is a horrific and barbaric attack. I am shocked at the deaths of 22 people and I strongly condemned the attack,” she said is a messages floated for media this evening.

“On behalf of the government and people of Bangladesh, I am extending my deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members,” she added.  

At least 22 people were killed and 59 wounded in an explosion at the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande in the English city of Manchester on Monday, in what two US officials said was a suspected suicide bombing.
