One woman found dead, another dies in hospital
The body of a strangled woman was found in the capital's Mirpur while another woman, rescued in an unconscious state by police from Mohammadpur, died in Dhaka Medical College Hospital yesterday.
The around 35-year-old strangled woman, wearing a salwar kameez, had a scarf wound around her neck and stab injuries in her face and was found in an empty plot. The around 30-year-old Mohammadpur woman, found between two buildings on Noorjahan Road, bore several injury marks, said police.
Police sent both bodies to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
