Tomorrow’s SSC exams postponed

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed following extension of the BNP-led 20-party alliance’s hartal.

The revised date for Wednesday’s examinations will be announced later, the education ministry said in a press statement this evening.

Earlier in the afternoon, the 20-party alliance announced to extend its countrywide shutdown till 6:00am Friday to press home their demand for a fresh election under a non-party administration.
