Fallout Shelter is a mobile part of the Fallout series of post-apocalyptic video games. This game's probably going to make you a more horrible person. Take caution.
The game appoints you as the Overseer of an underground vault that can house up to 200 dwellers. Your main objective is to keep everyone happy and make sure supplies do not run out. You can build rooms ranging from living quarters to nuclear reactors, gardens, water treatment plants and much more. Appoint dwellers with the right set of skills in the right rooms to gain maximum efficiency.
It starts out really fun and innocent: making new rooms, getting dwellers to make babies to expand your vault, completing objectives in hopes for "lunchboxes" that contain special items. You don't need to spend any real money to get new items and it's fairly easy to make more "caps" which is the currency of the vault. When you get to around 100 dwellers, the boredom kicks in. The evil side of you awakens. You start hoping for epidemics or raider attacks just so something new happens. You start sending out unnecessary dwellers to the outside wasteland to die. You make everyone cheat on each other.Or maybe I'm the only one who went to the dark side; you won't know unless you play.
Overall, the fun of the game lasts only a few weeks but it really is worth it if you have time to kill, and it's free so win-win. Give it a try!
