Australia warns of terrorist attack in East Timor
Australia warned of a possible attack or bombing of government buildings in neighboring East Timor on Wednesday, but did not say who was behind the threat.
Late on Tuesday, police searched the office of East Timor's prime minister in the capital, Dili, after a bomb threat and detained three armed men outside the building but found no devices, East Timorese police said.
In the warning, the Australian government advised travelers to avoid government buildings in Dili.
