10-month baby kidnapped from court premises

According to eye-witnesses, Shakib was kidnapped by two unidentified criminals at arms point from the lap of his 10-year-old sister Munni. At that time their mother Merina Akhter was talking to her arrested husband Forkan Mollick in front of court hajat.

Forkan of Swarankhola upazila of Bagerhat district was arrested on charge of selling timber illegally last year.
