Anniversary of Zainul’s death observed

The programme included discussion on life and works of Shilpacharya and a painting competition for students.

The discussants recalled Shilpacharya's contribution in glorifying our art and culture.

The discussion was presided over by additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Abu Mohammad Yusuf while it was attended by Delwar Hossain Khan Dulu MP, as chief guest.

Painter Amirul Islam, former teacher of Women's Teachers' Training College, Shahadat Hossain Khan, president of Mymensingh Threatre Association (MTA) and secretary of Bahurupi Natya Sangstha took part in the discussion.

About 131 students participated in the painting competition held in three groups. Prizes were also distributed among the winners of the competition.
