2 suspects in Balu murder case sent to jail
Two arrested suspects in journalist Humayun Kabir Balu murder case were sent to jail on Wednesday. Police arrested Monir,30, and Ripon, 28, two armed cares of outlawed PBCP Janajuddha from Shahnewaz Shrimp Processing Factory at Ramnagar in Rupsha upazila on Monday.
But they were shown arrested in two other murder cases.
It was not known why the outlaws were not interrogated despite their involvement in Balu murder case. This correspondent tried to contact the superintendent of police (SP) of Khulna, Habibur Rahman several times but failed. Rupsha Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) too refused to talk to him regarding the matter.
