Samsung Electronics retains global Top 5 position for sixth consecutive year
Samsung Electronics has once again secured its place among the world's most valuable brands, ranking fifth in Interbrand's "Best Global Brands 2025" list for the sixth consecutive year.
The global brand consultancy valued Samsung's brand at USD 90.5 billion, reaffirming its position as the only Asian company to consistently remain in the top five since 2020.
According to Interbrand, Samsung's continued rise is driven by its innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) across business divisions under its vision of "Innovation for All." The company's AI-powered technologies are designed to enhance everyday experiences and make advanced innovation accessible to more consumers worldwide.
In Consumer Electronics, Samsung has expanded its leadership by integrating AI into product categories such as televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines. The Vision AI technology in Samsung TVs delivers immersive, personalized viewing experiences, while Bespoke AI appliances combine energy efficiency, intuitive usability, and elegant design to redefine convenience in modern living. These innovations are further enhanced through SmartThings, Samsung's connected ecosystem that enables seamless control and automation of home devices.
In the mobile segment, Samsung continues to lead the evolution of mobile AI through Galaxy AI, which is expected to reach over 400 million devices worldwide this year. By collaborating with global partners, Samsung ensures open innovation, enhanced personalization, and industry-leading security through Samsung Knox.
Celebrating the milestone, Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director and Head of Business, Samsung Consumer Electronics Bangladesh, said:
"At Samsung, we are committed to bringing state-of-the-art AI technology to Bangladesh to make the daily lives of our consumers better. This recognition reflects that commitment and motivates us to make innovation even more meaningful and accessible for our customers."
Interbrand's Best Global Brands ranking evaluates companies based on three key criteria: financial performance, brand influence on customer choice, and overall brand strength. The annual list is widely regarded as one of the most authoritative assessments of global brand value.
