3 held with 15,200 yaba pills in Ctg

The detective branch (DB) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested three persons and recovered 15,200 yaba pills from their possession during a drive at GEC Intersection in port city on Friday night.

The arrestees are Niaz Uddin, 25; Ayub Ali, 42; and Md Selim, 32, says a press release from CMP.

During primary interrogation, the arrestees admitted that they had been peddling yaba in the city for around a year, the release adds.
