5-day art exhibition begins at RU

"First Chorkuthuri Art Exhibition-2016", a five-day art exhibition started yesterday at Rajshahi University, organised by Chorkuthuri Art Group.

45 paintings, 9 sculptures and 6 photographs by ten artists are shown at the exhibition.

Prof Golam Faruk of fine arts department inaugurated the event at the university Teachers-Students Cultural Centre (TSCC).

Prof Nurul Mudasser, TSCC director and Sardar Tamizuddin Ahmed, additional commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police were present, among others.
