6-day DU theatre fest begins today

The 10th Annual Theatre Festival of Dhaka University will start at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on the campus at 6:00pm today.

Theatre and performance studies department of DU is organising the six-day festival celebrating its 20th anniversary.

DU Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the programme where Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, and Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star Mahfuz Anam will be present as the chief guest and the special guest respectively. The Daily Star is supporting the festival which is being funded by the ministry of cultural affairs , and Standard Chartered Bank.
