60 students selected from Ctg for Physics Olympiad

Sixty students were selected from Chittagong division yesterday for the sixth Bangladesh Physics Olympiad.

The students, from class seventh to 12th grade, will be sent to Dhaka to compete with others selected from 13 regions on Dec 28 and 29. Five finalists from the group of 12th graders will be sent to participate in the 47th International Physics Olympiad at Zurich of Switzerland from July 10 to 18, 2016.

Prof Muhammed Zafar Iqbal and Lt Col (retd) Md Ziauddin Ahmed, Bir Uttam, chief advisor to Physics Olympiad Chittagong Divisional Organising Committee were present at the event.
