700 get free diabetes treatment

At least 700 patients, including pregnant women, were given free treatment of diabetes from a health camp at Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj yesterday.

A team of 25 postgraduate doctors of endocrinology department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, headed by Prof MA Hasanat, conducted the daylong free camp especially for the poor. Farida Huq Foundation organised it at a local school at Ramkrishnadi while Chowdhruy Mokim KJ Ali, a lawyer, provided all support, says a press release.
