a2i to build technological platform for judiciary
To create a technological platform or plug-in for the judiciary, Access to Information (a2i) Programme of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Judicial Strengthening Project (JUST) of the Supreme Court yesterday.
With this MoU, the a2i programme will build a system to help get any kind of judicial e-service. PMO Secretary Suraiya Begum at the event said the MoU can play a bridging role between technology and the judiciary.
Director of e-Service (a2i) Dr Md Abdul Mannan in his presentation described how the MoU will enhance application of modern ICT tools for the judicial system, increase the use of e-technologies by judges and court staff, promote innovation in judicial service delivery and build a common approach for e-service in the judiciary.
Project Director and Director General (admin) of PMO Kabir Bin Anwar, Supreme Court Registrar Syed Aminul Islam, UNDP Assistant Country Director KAM Morshed and a2i Policy Adviser Anir Chowdhury also spoke at the event held at the PMO.
