Cabinet body for Dhaka DAP reorganised

The government has reorganised the cabinet committee to  finalise the Detailed Area Plan (DAP) prepared by Rajdhani Unnayan  Kartipokkho (Rajuk) following its detailed review.

LGRD Minister Md Tazul Islam was  made convener of the seven-member committee, the ministry said  in a release yesterday.

Other members of the committee are: Obaidul Quader, road transport and bridges minister; Shahab Uddin, environment, forest and climate change minister; Saifuzzaman Chowdhury,  land minister; Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, state minister for shipping; Zaheed Farooque, state minister for water resources and Sharif Ahmed, state minister for housing and public works.

The cabinet division issued a gazette notification on October 25 in this regard.
