Conference on fighting extremist ideologies begins in Kazakhstan

A two-day regional conference begins today in Astana, Kazakhstan, with leaders from 13 south and central Asian countries, including Bangladesh, to discuss ways to counter violent extremist ideologies and networks within the framework of good governance and the rule of law.

Ministers, senior government officials, and civil society representatives are participating in the "Conference on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)".
