Conference on graphic novels in academia at ULAB today

The Center for Language Studies of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh will host the country's first ever conference "Embracing Graphicdemia: The Role of Graphic Novels and Comics in Academia" in the ULAB auditorium at 10:00am today.

Artist Ahsan Habib will be the chief guest. CLS Director ATM Sajedul Huq and ULAB Vice Chancellor Prof Imran Rahman will, among others, spoke, says a press release.

Sixteen academics, independent scholars and professionals from the comics industry will present their academic papers on the subject.
