CU to build new female hall for minority students

Chittagong University (CU) is going to build a female residential hall for minority students.

CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury laid the foundation stone of "Buddhist and Other Minority female Students Hall" yesterday, which will be constructed at the cost of Tk 11.44 crore.

At first, the four-storey of the five-storey building will provide accommodation to 225 female students, said CU Registrar (Acting) Prof Kamrul Huda.
