CU gets two new departments

Chittagong University (CU) has recently launched two new departments which will offer honours course in the upcoming 2015-2016 academic session.

The department of Physical Education and Sports Science, where 20 seats are available, is under the newly formed Education faculty while Sangeet (music) department with 30 seats is under the Arts faculty.

CU Deputy Registrar SM Akbar Hossain said following the decision, there will not be any singer and sportsman quota in other faculties except the BKSP quota.
