Death anniversary

Today is the fourth death anniversary of Dr Moin Uddin Ahmed (Montu Doctor), a freedom fighter and former MP.

A milad mahfil will be held at his residence.

A physician, he had been elected Member of Provincial Assembly in 1970, Member of Constituent Assembly in 1972 and MP in 1973, 1986, and 1996. He had been elected chairman of Shibganj upazila in 1985 and 1990. He was also the president and general secretary in Shibganj upazila and Chapainawabganj district units of Awami League in different times.
