Death anniversary

Today is the 10th death anniversary of Awami League leader and Liberation War organiser Advocate Abidur Reza Khan.

A close associate of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Abidur was a lawmaker and adviser to Awami Ainjibi Parishad.

On this occasion, Abidur Reza Khan Memorial Council has organised a two-day programme, including offering prayers at his grave at Mirpur Intellectuals Graveyard today and a milad and doa mahfil in his Elephant Road residence in the capital tomorrow.

Similar programmes also have been organised at his village home in Bhederganj of Shariatpur.
