Death anniversary

Today is the first death anniversary of Miah Abdur Razzaque; a former

agriculture officer and father of Hasan Jahid Tusher, a senior reporter of The Daily Star.

Born in Sreerampur village under Magura Sadar in 1923, He was involved in different social activities in his life.

He died of old-age complications leaving behind his four sons and two daughters.

On this occasion, recitation from holy Quran and special prayers will be held at his village home after Asr prayers today.

Special prayers will also be organised in all the mosques of the village on Friday after Juma prayers for the salvation of his departed soul.
