Dhaka replied to int'l plea for halt on Kamaruzzaman's execution

Bangladesh has replied to the United Nations and other international bodies which had asked the country to halt the execution of war criminal and Jamaat leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman.
"An appropriate reply is usually given to such requests…. And Bangladesh's position has been conveyed to them very clearly," said Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque yesterday.
