DIU celebrates anniversary

The Daffodil International University (DIU) yesterday celebrated its 14th founding anniversary at its permanent campus in Ashulia, on the outskirts of the capital.

Annisul Huq, mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation, was the chief guest while Md Sabur Khan, chairman, DIU, presided over the programme.

Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, vice-chancellor of DIU, Hamidul Haque Khan, treasurer, Prof Rafiqul Islam, dean of business, Prof M Shamsul Alam, dean of engineering, Prof Hamidur Rahman, dean of humanities and social science, among others, were present.
