DU admission applications start Aug 24

The online admission process for the first year honours at Dhaka University will begin on August 24 and continue till September 10, said a press release.

DU dropped "Elective English" from its admission tests yesterday.  Earlier, candidates had to secure a minimum of 15 points to get admission to the English department.  Dr Hasibur Rahman, convener of online admission committee said the exam will be applicable for those who did not study in Bangla, or for English medium students.
