DU opens SN Bose Museum

Dhaka University opened SN Bose Museum on the campus yesterday.

Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the museum, which has been named after famous scientist Satyendra Nath Bose, at the Department of Physics.

Prof Bose, who is well known for his work on quantum mechanics in the early 1920s, was very close to famous scientist Albert Einstein, the VC said at the inauguration.

Bose was also a DU professor, the VC added.
