Film festival begins at RU Nov 18

A seven-day international film festival titled "Dui Bangla Chalocchittro Utsab" will begin at Rajshahi University on November 18.

RU mass communication and journalism department and RU Film Society are organising the festival.

Sazzad Bakul, the festival organising committee secretary and assistant professor of journalism, said this at a press conference at Rabindra Arts building.

Indian filmmaker Buddhadeb Das Gupta will inaugurate the festival, he added.

Among others, Pradeep Kumar Panday, chairman of the department, was present at the conference.
