Fire at dyeing factory in Dhaka’s Demra under control
A fire that broke out at a dyeing factory in Dhaka's Demra area tonight has been brought under control.
The fire was brought under control at around 10:55pm, Mahfuz Riven, a duty officer of Dhaka Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, told The Daily Star.
The fire erupted at the tin-roofed factory of Imperial Paint, located in Amulia Model Town, around 8:55pm, said the duty officer.
On information, five units of firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, he added.
There were no causalities in the fire, Rafiqul Islam, inspector (investigation) of Demra Police Station, told The Daily Star.
However, the reason behind the fire could not be known yet.
