Fire at electric bulb factory in Bongshal

A fire broke out at an electric bulb factory in Bongshal area of Dhaka tonight.

Five units of firefighters doused the blaze around 9:30pm over an hour after it originated at the factory in Alutola area, said Mahfuz Riben, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.

Details -- cause and casualty -- of the fire could not be known immediately.
