Huge quantity of foreign cigarettes found in container at Ctg port

Custom officials seized a container full of foreign cigarettes worth over Tk seven crore at Chittagong port on charge of importing through false declaration.

Genetic Fashions Limited of Ashulia in Savar imported the consignment from United Arab Emirates in January giving declaration of importing 288 cartons of cotton yarn, said officials.

Mentionable, on February 25, Rapid Action Battalion seized a container full of foreign cigarettes, worth Tk 4.7 crore.
