JU dorms must remain vacant for 10 days for Eid, summer vacations

The Jahangirnagar University authorities will keep the students' dormitories fully closed for 10 days from July 14 during Eid and summer vacations to maintain security and some renovation works of the dorms.

The decision had been taken in the last syndicate meeting held on May 28, said Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique.

From now on, the dormitories will remain vacant during every Eid vacation for security reasons, he said.
