JU environmental sciences dept demands transfer to new building

Several hundred teachers and students of Environmental Sciences department of Jahangirnagar University staged a sit-in programme yesterday demanding transfer of their department to a newly constructed building.
A rally from their department to the building was brought out after the programme held in front of Vice-Chancellors office.
The department was supposed to be shifted to the building a year earlier but JU authorities did not do it despite students' sufferings.
