JU fee hike protested

Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) and Samajtantrik Chhatra Front (SCF) of Jahangirnagar University unit protested a fee hike in different departments of the university and demanded its immediate cancellation.

They made the demand in separate statements,  signed by JU unit president and secretary of the organisations, yesterday.

The authorities hiked the admission fee in nine departments naming development fees in admitting honours programme under the academic session of 2015-16.
