Kolkata actress Rituparna speaks at DU seminar on acting

Acclaimed silver screen actress Rituparna Sengupta of Kolkata yesterday called for making more films with female protagonists in Bangladesh.

Commending director Nargis Akhter for getting into film direction, Rituparna, at a seminar titled "Acting in the Eyes of Director" organised in Dhaka University's Social Science building by its television and film studies department, also urged that more women should get involved in this industry.

DU Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique and the department's chairperson Prof AJM Shafiul Alam spoke among others.
