Language movement veteran Musa passes away

Mohammad Musa, a Language Movement veteran and former president of Brahmanbaria Press Club, died at his residence in Mourail area of Brahmanbaria town early yesterday. He was 86.

He left behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Musa, a writer and researcher, was also former vice president of Brahmanbaria Government College Chhatra Sangsad and a correspondent of now-defunct the daily Banglar Bani.

His namaz-e-janaza was held at Niaz Mohammad High School playground. Later, he was buried at his family graveyard.
